IT Unit

Without a slightest doubt, the Internet has evidently become a vehicle for change and a platform for immeasurable progress.

In order to spread Islamic knowledge and faith throughout the world, Muslims should master in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and deliver da’wah in interesting way by means of multimedia and publishing.

 Internet is the place where reform’s going to start since it provide better communication, open dialogue and discussion, and enable others to learn about Islam in peace and harmony.

2 years ago, Volunteer Team introduced Publishing Unit to spread good message and dakwah through exhibition, bookmarks while Multimedia Unit was established to deliver tazkirah through video presentation.

In 2008, Publishing Unit and Multimedia Unit had been merged to become IT unit as one unit to assist delivering of da’wah by the use of ICT.

The IT Unit of Volunteer team aspires to provide a platform of delivering good message via publishing, multimedia and technology; to enhance creativity of volunteers in da’wah; to inculcate understanding of Islam through more interactive and innovative ways and also to provide a better and easier means of communication between VT members.

In the near future, we hope to further develop and improve the skills (in using Adobe Photoshop, Flash Macromedia, video editing software etc.) of our volunteers by conducting professional training sessions, and insyaAllah produce more creative materials.

Other than that, we also plan to recruit photographers and perhaps, expand our expertise in various fields in relation to this era of cyber technology.
